To get some legalities out of the way, neither ap3d.com nor Alternate Perspective 3D Ltd. claim to have anything to do with the TV series Babylon 5, and the 3D models on display here were created for fun by Alternate Perspective 3D employees. They are not the actual models seen in the TV series.

If you choose to download one of the models available from this site, you must agree with the terms and conditions set down on the information page for each model respectively.

To use the menu, just click on the flashing button to pop-up a menu with links to every page in the Babylon 5 Area. Another new feature that the menu allows is the ability to display the Babylon 5 Area pages outside of the main ap3d.com interface. This is especially useful for those users with smaller display resolutions (such as 800x600). To break the Babylon 5 Area out of the main interface, click here, then use the site-map menu to navigate between pages.

The ap3d.com Babylon 5 Area currently contains three main zones:

• Our models, which are available for download, including the Whitestar, the EA Thunderbolt and a Jump-Point system.
• The Whitestar modelling tutorial: A series of lessons in modelling technique for Lightwave 3D with the goal of building your own version of the Whitestar.
• The Whitestar v4.0 preview pages: These pages allow you to see the work in progress on the latest version of the Whitestar, which is due for release soon.

If you can't see a button that looks something like this: in the top left corner of this frame and every other page in the Babylon 5 Area, then your browser is too old to use the site-map menu. You should install a new web browser.
